Once upon a time there was a Great house far from the city, deep in the woods, in Vrhi in Poreč. A family from the village moved there. The children were small, everything was missing.

The House was Great and empty. Little by little, the House was being tidied up, the children were growing up, and back in 1979, the first categorization of the Great house for rent was made, then, not for so many tourists. Tourists came from distant lands and were satisfied with their stay in the Great House. They came back for many years in a row, and their children and our children grew up together. Their re-arrival speaks a lot about their satisfaction in the Great House in the woods. The needs of the guests grew every year, and the rooms in the Great House were arranged into apartments. Everything was adapted to the wishes of guests who were no longer just guests, but many of them became good friends, both with us hosts and with other guests. Now theirs and our children are happy to come to the Great house with their children and grow up together with our grandchildren.

The Great house is no longer a lonely house in the woods but a house in a quiet part of town near the center of Poreč. In the large garden, only the laughter and play of our and their children can still be heard. Guests are always welcome in the GREAT HOUSE IN VRHI.
